The Quinnipiac River Fund Advisory Committee

The advisory committee is made up of three members. Two members are appointed by the Natural Resources Defense Council and one is appointed by the Connecticut Fund for the Environment.

The Advisory Committee reviews the proposals to verify the following:

The need addressed in the proposal and other past or ongoing attempts to meet it
The degree of benefit to the community
The expected results
The adequacy of the proposed action to the problem
The assurances of cooperation with other groups in the same field
The appropriateness of timing
The prospects of future support by other funding sources
